GuestPass Golf Limited

1. About GuestPass

GuestPass is operated by GuestPass Golf Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number: 17268013). These Terms govern your use of the GuestPass web application. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. For questions, contact us at hello@guestpassgolf.co.uk.

2. What GuestPass is and is not

GuestPass is a matching platform. We connect golfers (guests) who want to play at member rates with club members (hosts) who have spare slots in their fourball.

GuestPass does not: handle, process, or hold any payments; book tee times on your behalf; guarantee availability at any club; act as an agent for any golf club; have any commercial relationship with any golf club listed on the platform.

The green fee is paid directly by the guest to the club at member rate on the day. GuestPass is not a party to that transaction.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to use GuestPass. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with anyone else. You must provide accurate information when registering. Providing false information — including false handicap details or claiming membership at a club you do not belong to — is grounds for immediate account suspension.

5. Guest rules

As a guest you agree to: only post genuine round requests for dates you are available; honour confirmed games — repeated no-shows will result in suspension; pay the agreed member guest rate directly to the club on the day; treat your host and other players with courtesy and respect; not attempt to contact hosts outside the platform prior to a confirmed game.

6. Host rules

As a host you agree to: only offer slots at clubs where you hold a current membership in good standing; only offer dates and tee times you are genuinely able to fulfil; honour confirmed games — repeated no-shows will result in suspension; not charge guests more than the standard member guest rate at your club; not use GuestPass to solicit payment outside the platform's intended use; treat your guest with courtesy and respect.

7. Conduct

You must not use GuestPass to: harass, intimidate, or discriminate against any other user; share another user's contact details without their consent; attempt to move communication off-platform before a game is confirmed; post false or misleading information; use the platform for any commercial purpose other than the guest golf mechanic it is designed for; attempt to circumvent any platform rule or technical control.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that breaches these rules.

8. No-shows

A no-show is when a confirmed guest or host fails to appear for a round without reasonable notice. Three confirmed no-shows will result in account suspension pending review. No-show reports are reviewed by GuestPass administrators. Falsely reporting a no-show is itself a breach of these Terms.

9. Feedback and ratings

Post-round feedback is voluntary but encouraged. Feedback must be honest and relate to the round in question. Using the feedback system to harass or defame another user is a breach of these Terms and may result in removal of the feedback and suspension of your account.

10. Club rules and member obligations

Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring their guest arrangements comply with their club's guest policy. GuestPass does not verify club guest policies and accepts no liability for any breach of a club's rules arising from use of the platform. If your club does not permit you to bring paying guests, do not use GuestPass as a host at that club.

11. Intellectual property

All content on GuestPass — including the design, code, copy, and branding — is owned by GuestPass Golf Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our written permission. You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content you grant us a licence to store and display it for the purpose of operating the platform.

12. Limitation of liability

GuestPass is a matching platform. We are not responsible for: the conduct of any guest or host before, during, or after a round; any injury, loss, or damage arising from a round facilitated through the platform; any dispute between a guest and a host; any breach by a host of their club's guest policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuestPass Golf Limited's liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Availability

We aim to keep GuestPass available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance or in response to a security incident without notice.

14. Changes to these Terms

We will notify registered users by email of material changes to these Terms at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of GuestPass after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
